Royal Melbourne Hospital's bone marrow transplant unit has produced a commemorative book titled 'Celebrating Life' for which I was subeditor on a voluntary basis. The person who put this book together is my friend Sandra Slatter who has her own book released in 2006 titled 'Shadows & Light' (Sid Harta Publishers) which chronicles her journey through cancer and her experiences at the bone marrow transplant unit. We are also writing a book together about cancer survivors which we hope to begin later in 2007. I have been co-authoring a book with a writer in Canberra which will likely be an ongoing project for some time longer. It's a most interesting novel and I anticipate it will do well for this first-time author. I am also planning to work more on my book titled 'Swinging on a Star' this year and next year. The basic outlines and structure have been mapped out and the introductory section has been written, so it's time to get down to the nitty gritty of it. This book is a mix of self-help and autobiographical material dealing with Bipolar Disorder.
